VDQS AWARDS

 

 

 

On the occasion of each scientific conference, the Vineyard Data Quantification Society honours some proposals by decerning awards.

Currently the Association delivers the following Awards :

  • The Association Prize is awarded to an original paper of high scientific quality.
    (This award was first appointed to the Verona Enometrics from 1993-2005, and is now the "Samantha Schmid" of Enometrics)

  List of the Prizewinners

  • Local prizes, awarded since 1993, are awarded from the local authorities of wine and vine. This prize consists in a selection of local wines.
  •   List of the Prizewinners

  • Best young researcher, awarded since 2012. Among other selection criteria, the jury wants to favor the promotion of young researchers with this special award.

  • A special award at the Symposium: the "Liquid Assets Prize" [2002-2008]
    This prize has been awarded since 2002. It consists of a bottle, 25 years of age, offered by "Liquid Assets", journal edited by Orley Ashenfelter. The quality of the oral presentation occurs also among the selection criteria. The last prize was awarded in 2008.
